If I enroll while visiting a Founders Office but later decide I don’t have sufficient balances to support the daily Edge Up1 transfer, do I have to come into an office to sign another form?
No, you are welcome to enroll or unenroll via Founders Online. Please wait one day from your branch visit before changing your election in Founders Online. (If changes are made in a Founders Office the same day as Founders Online, the election you made while in one of our branches will override the Founders Online change you requested.)
How quickly does my enrollment or unenrollment to Edge Up take effect?
Please allow 24 hours after you enroll/unenroll for changes to reflect on your account.
I had an Edge Up transfer on Monday, nothing on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, and then one again on Friday. Why don’t I have a transfer every day?
Your Edge Up transactions could vary based on different scenarios. For example, the funds may not have transferred because:
- You may not have used your Debit Card on the days you didn’t have an Edge Up transfer to your Loyalty Select.2
- There wasn’t a sufficient balance in your Checking Account at the end of the day to allow the full Edge Up transfer to your Loyalty Select.
- Your transfer was blocked if one of your loans became delinquent for an extended period of time.
- The address we have on file for you is not accurate.
I need to make a return on a purchase I made using my Debit Card. Will my Edge Up transfer be undone when I make the return?
No, the money transferred into your Loyalty Select account will stay in your Loyalty Select.
Sometimes I use my PIN with my Debit Card, and sometimes it runs as “credit.” Do I need to pick something special to make sure I benefit from the daily Edge Up transfer?
No, simply use your Debit Card to make your purchase and the additional amount will move to your Loyalty Select, no matter how the purchase is made.
Will automated debits/ACH transactions, checks and ATM withdrawals also Edge Up to my Loyalty Select?
No, only Debit Card purchases qualify for this program.
I often use Founders Privilege3 to help get me through to my next paycheck and sometimes I still end up overdrawn. How will this impact my daily Edge Up transfer?
Our system will look at your Checking Account each night before completing the daily Edge Up transfer. If you are overdrawn on your account, have used Founders Privilege, or have used your overdraft source (from another account or a Line of Credit), the daily Edge Up transfer will not occur. But don’t worry, once you get your account back into a positive state, the daily Edge Up transfers will start up again!
I enrolled in this program online yesterday but when I log back in, it appears I am no longer enrolled. Why is this?
There are several reasons we may unenroll a member from this program. You can visit your local office or call us at 1-800-845-1614 to help you understand the specific “why” behind your unenrollment, given your account relationship with us. This program, and the high yielding Loyalty Select account, are intended to reward members in good standing with Founders. 1 Only Checking Accounts that have the option to receive a Debit Card qualify for the Edge Up program and all account types may not be eligible. ATM or cash back purchases, Debit Card credits, checks, ACH, certain online transactions, disputed transactions and other non-Debit Card transactions may not qualify. 3 Founders will assess a $32.00 fee for each NSF transaction. This fee will be reduced to $5.00 if the resulting transaction is between $1.01 and $5.00. Your account must have a positive balance within 30 days of initiating Founders Privilege. Must be 18 years or older, have no negative balances or delinquent loans over 30 days, and your account must not be dormant or have been modified through troubled debt restructuring. Founders offers Founders Privilege as a courtesy and is under no obligation to pay items when your account has insufficient funds, even if previous transactions are paid.
