Prizeout is here! Purchase Digital Gift Cards in Founders Online with Prizeout
Founders has teamed up with Prizeout to launch a new service directly in Founders Online. Purchase digital gift cards from brands you love with funds from your qualifying accounts, and receive a bonus value added to the gift card balance, up to 20%*! From the Home screen on Founders Online or on the Founders App, simply scroll down to the Prizeout Offers block and click Explore offers. If you have multiple qualifying accounts to fund the purchase, select the account you would like to use. If the merchant offers multiple redemption amounts, select your preferred amount. Your bonus amount is reflected based on the bonus percentage. Complete the purchase, and that’s it! In most cases, your digital gift card (including the bonus value) will be delivered instantly!

How will I receive my digital gift card?
An email from Prizeout with instructions on how to claim your digital gift card will be sent to your email address on file in your Founders Online account. You can also click My Wallet within Prizeout Offers to claim and view all of your digital gift card purchases.
How do I claim my digital gift card?
To claim your digital gift card you must accept the digital gift card code and PIN. You can go through the claims process as many times as you need. This can be done within My Wallet in Prizeout Offers, or through the email that is sent to confirm your purchase.
What happens if I lose the email but I didn’t use the card?
If the card has been unused, you should still be able to see it in the My Wallet option in Prizeout Offers. If you prefer the email to be resent to the same email address, please contact 800-845-1614.
Can I get a physical gift card in the mail?
Prizeout only offers digital gift cards to utilize either through the merchant’s online platform or in store. Method of use depends on merchant.
When I access Prizeout Offers, why do I see an Account Balance of $0.00?
If you do not have an eligible checking account or money market account, you will not be able to purchase Prizeout digital gift cards. To obtain a checking account, please visit www.foundersfcu.com or visit your local branch.
Can I send someone a digital gift card as a gift?
At this time, a gifting option is not available.
Can I search for specific merchants/retailers in Prizeout?
The Prizeout Offers displayed change periodically and are based on your location and card usage.
What if my email address on file is no longer active?
If you have not purchased a digital gift card, navigate to the contact information in Online Banking and update your email address as prompted. If you have purchased the card without noticing the email address is invalid, please contact 800-845-1614 for assistance.
Why does my redemption need approval?
Approval settings for digital gift cards are set as a layer of protection for you and the Credit Union. Pending transactions are reviewed daily and decisioned within 1-3 business days.
Where can I find my digital gift card balance?
Digital gift card balances are available via the issuing merchant’s support services. Founders and Prizeout do not have access to your gift card balances.
When do my digital gift cards expire?
To check the balance of your digital gift card, please contact the merchant. Many merchants have “Check Gift Card Balance” functionality on their websites. Even if some or all of the value has been used, the card balance in Prizeout will display the full initial value. Gift cards are not permitted to expire within 5 years from the date of purchase.
Can I cancel my digital gift card and get a refund?
Once a digital gift card is purchased and you have received a confirmation email from Prizeout to claim it, we are unable to cancel, refund or exchange the card purchase.
What if I see an unauthorized transaction on my account through Prizeout?
If you notice a fraudulent charge on your account due to a Prizeout transaction, please contact 800-845-1614.
What account am I using to purchase the card?
Your eligible account with the greatest monetary value at the time of login will default for use in the transaction. At the top of the Prizeout dashboard, a list of eligible account options are available from the drop down menu.
Why am I seeing different offers than others?
Prizeout utilizes information from your spending history from your Founders Checking Account(s) to display offers that better suit your spending habits. Prizeout also displays offers based on your city to only provide offers you would be able to utilize.
