Is there a fee to use Credit Expert by Savvy Money?
There is no fee associated with the use of Credit Expert by Savvy Money. Credit Expert is a free tool provided to our membership within Founders Online.

Does enrolling/using Credit Expert affect my credit score?
No. Credit Expert by Savvy Money does not result in an inquiry on your credit report.

Will Founders use my Credit Expert by Savvy Money report/score for a loan request?
No. Founders will use the credit score rendered from TransUnion VantageScore® 4.0.
The credit score provided within Credit Expert is intended to help you understand the factors that affect your credit score and ways you may be able to save money with Founders loan products. It is not used for loan approval purposes or for determining loan rates. Loan rates and approvals are based on information provided to the credit union when you apply for a loan.

Why could my scores be different?
You may see a difference in your score when you apply for a loan with Founders versus what you see within Credit Expert in Founders Online. Not all credit scores are the same. Credit Expert by Savvy Money uses TransUnion VantageScore® 4.0 and 3.0. Founders uses TransUnion VantageScore® 4.0. Both are common scoring models. Financial Institutions choose which scoring models they use to make loan decisions. There are many factors of a credit report that are considered when calculating a credit score. Each credit score model may weigh factors differently, which makes no scoring models identical.

What if the information on my Credit Expert by Savvy Money report is inaccurate?
Credit Expert by Savvy Money provides you with the ability to dispute inaccuracies in your credit report with TransUnion. Under Credit Score and Report, click on the Report Tab, and scroll to the bottom of the report. Select “Start a Dispute” and you will be guided through the process.
You may also contact Savvy Money support directly under the Resources option by selecting Profile Settings and scrolling down to Contact Us.

How do I access my individual Credit Expert by Savvy Money report if I am joint on an account?
Joint account holders may access their Credit Expert by Savvy Money report by utilizing individual login criteria when accessing Founders Online.
