1 You must be 18 years or older to qualify. Qualifications for Founders Credit Cards are based on the Credit Union’s criteria, including applicant’s income and credit history. APRs will vary with the market based on the Prime rate. Rates, terms and conditions are determined by an evaluation of credit history and underwriting factors and are subject to change.
2 Applicable exclusively to newly opened Clemson branded credit cards as of September 1, 2026.
3 Requires credit evaluation. Members under the age of 18 are required to have an adult sign as joint owner. Accounts without eStatements will be charged $2 for periodic statements by mail. Free checking does not apply to Fresh Start Checking.
4 Surcharge fees may apply when Founders Debit or ATM Card is used outside of the CO-OP ATM network or at foreign ATMs.
5 Receive your paycheck up to 2 days early with your eligible Prearranged Payment and Deposit (PPD) into your checking and/or savings account. Founders does not guarantee early posting.
6 Deposits can only be made by FFCU through qualifying or enrolling in a Loyalty Select Account Program. Members will be responsible for any associated tax liability and may receive a 1099-MISC and a 1099-INT as applicable. All members and account types may not be eligible for a Loyalty Select account.
