Downtime for Technology Upgrade 

While most of this will occur behind-the-scenes, there will be some impact to our members for a few days while we complete this upgrade. Our software upgrade will require many of our systems to be unavailable or experience some limitations between Friday, July 10 and Monday, July 13.

Instant Issue ATM Cards Instant Issue ATM Cards will be unavailable on Friday, July 10. Visit an office earlier the week of July 6 to receive an Instant Issue ATM Card, or call 1-800-845-1614 and we can mail you an ATM Card.
Founders ATMs Our ATMs will not have full-service capabilities during our downtime. Withdraw cash you will need during this timeframe by Friday, July 10 by visiting a Founders ATM or an office near you.
Contact Center Our Contact Center will be available during our regular business hours. Call us the week before with any account specific questions you may have during our system upgrade.

Online Loan or Membership Applications Unavailable from 9:00pm on Thursday, July 9 through Monday, July 13. Submit your loan applications prior to 9:00pm on Thursday, July 9 or after our system upgrade is complete.
Loan or Membership Applications at a Founders Office We will stop accepting applications for Loans or Membership at all Founders locations at 4:30pm on Friday, July 10. Apply for Loans or Membership at a Founders Office before 4:30pm on Friday, July 10 or after our system upgrade is complete.

Recurring Funds Transfers Funds will not transfer between Friday, July 10 and Monday, July 13. No steps needed. Once our system upgrade is complete your recurring transfers will transfer even if it is originally scheduled during our downtime.
Online Loan Payments Unavailable from 5:30pm on Friday, July 10 through Monday, July 13. Complete all Loan Payments within Founders Online prior to Thursday, July 9.
Scheduled Loan Payments Loan Payments will not transfer between Friday, July 10 and Monday, July 13. No steps needed. Once our system upgrade is complete your reccuring transfers will transfer even if it is originally scheduled during our downtime.
ePayments ePayments will be unavailable the evening of Friday, July 10 through Monday, July 13. Complete all payments before Thursday, July 9.
Intuit Software (Quicken, QuickBooks or mint.com) Intuit software will need to be disconnected from Founders Online then reconnected in order to work properly with our new system. Changes You'll See 

Most of the changes we are completing the weekend of July 11 will be unnoticeable to you, however, there will be a few differences as outlined below.

Shares to Savings

Going forward, we will refer to "shares" as "savings" throughout all systems. This includes within Founders Online and account statements.

Account Centric to Member Centric

Previously, our system was set up to view by account. Our new system will view by member, similar to how Founders Online already is today.

Account Suffixes

Our account suffixes will change from two digits (-00 or -70) to four digits after our upgrade is complete. Any accounts you currently have will automatically generate to a four digit suffix with two zeroes before the existing suffix. For example, your Checking Account today could be -70, but after our upgrade it will be -0070.

Founders Online

While Founders Online is not changing, some of the services and items you see in Founders Online may be a little different. 

  • Account History - your transactions will be the same and accurate, but the way they display in Founders Online may look a little different.
  • Escrow Accounts - if you have a Founders Mortgage you will be able to see your Escrow Account. Don't worry, you won't need to do anything with it, but it will be visible in your Account Tiles.
  • Founders Pay - because of our change from two-digit to four-digit suffixes, you'll need to enter all four digits of the account suffix when you send money to another Founders member through Founders Pay.

Call 24

Call 24 will be receiving a makeover! The toll-free number you dial today will not change, however, your options after our upgrade is complete will be quite different. The first time you log in to the new Call 24 you'll need to use your Member Number and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to gain access. You'll also be prompted to set up a new PIN for Call 24.

Online Applications

The overall look and feel of our Online Applications within Founders Online or on our website will be different. If you have bookmarked any old applications they will not work going forward. Please take a minute to delete any of our applications you have bookmarked and always access these within Founders Online or on our website.

In-Branch Receipts

The receipts you receive in our branches will have a new design but will still have the information you need.

Loan Coupon Books

Beginning Monday, July 13, Loan Coupon Books will no longer be available.

July Statements

Monthly statement recipients will receive two July statements from us – one with account transactions from July 1-10 from our old system, and one with account transactions from July 11-31 from our new system. If you typically receive quarterly statements, you will receive a statement from us with account transactions from July 1-10, and then another statement from July 11 through the end of your statement period.
